One Day in ISoc

Filed under: Uncategorized — mozamid @ 9:55 am

Standing for the position I’m not,

Standing for Allah, InshaAllah I am,

Nothing I shall promise,

Nothing I could promise,

Being a traveler,

The journey seems long way way to reach,

And I am not sure whether I will ever reach it or not,

Trust one not by appearance,

Do trust one by the ‘ilm and amal,

As ‘ilm is light and amal is the fruit of light,

Ask your iman,

Who will your driver be?

And it is you,

Who choose the driver,

As only the true driver can lead you to the destination,

When the wind blows,

Thunder struck and rain falls,

I am unsure whether I will ever reach the destination,

Only Allah I lay myself to….

Hand Over Meeting

8 June 2009, E126, 6.30 pm

Todays Reminder,

Leadership

He it is Who hath placed you as viceroys of the earth and hath exalted some of you in rank above others, that He may try you by (the test of) that which He hath given you. Lo! Thy Lord is swift in prosecution, and Lo! He verily is Forgiving, Merciful. (6:165)

Darkness to light

Allah is the Protecting Guardian of those who believe. He bringeth them out of darkness into light. As for those who disbelieve, their patrons are false deities. They bring them out of light into darkness. Such are rightful owners of the Fire. They will abide therein. (2:257)

Characteristic of Excellent leader.

Knowledgeable

Is he who payeth adoration in the watches of the night, prostrate and standing, bewaring of the Hereafter and hoping for the mercy of his Lord, (to be accounted equal with a disbeliever)? Say (unto them, O Muhammad): Are those who know equal with those who know not? But only men of understanding will pay heed. (39:9)

Wisdom in leadership

He giveth wisdom unto whom He will, and he unto whom wisdom is given, he truly hath received abundant good. But none remember except men of understanding. (2:269)

Mutual Consultation

And those who answer the call of their Lord and establish worship, and whose affairs are a matter of counsel, and who spend of what We have bestowed on them, (42:38)

Unity

Lo! this, your religion, is one religion, and I am your Lord, so worship Me. (21:92)

Steadfast in Allah’s path

O Children of Adam! When messengers of your own come unto you who narrate unto you My revelations, then whosoever refraineth from evil and amendeth – there shall no fear come upon them neither shall they grieve. (7:35)

Balance in all aspects ( concept of justice)

O ye who believe! Be steadfast witnesses for Allah in equity, and let not hatred of any people seduce you that ye deal not justly. Deal justly, that is nearer to your duty. Observe your duty to Allah. Lo! Allah is Informed of what ye do. (5:8)

Thus it is more likely that they will bear true witness or fear that after their oaths the oaths (of others) will be taken. So be mindful of your duty (to Allah) and hearken. Allah guideth not the froward folk. (5:108)

O ye who believe! Be ye staunch in justice, witnesses for Allah, even though it be against yourselves or (your) parents or (your) kindred, whether (the case be of) a rich man or a poor man, for Allah is nearer unto both (them ye are). So follow not passion lest ye lapse (from truth) and if ye lapse or fall away, then lo! Allah is ever Informed of what ye do. (4:135)

Say: My Lord enjoineth justice. And set your faces upright (toward Him) at every place of worship and call upon Him, making religion pure for Him (only). As He brought you into being, so return ye (unto Him). (7:29)

Firm in Allah’s path

These are the limits (imposed by) Allah. Whoso obeyeth Allah and His messenger, He will make him enter Gardens underneath which rivers flow, where such will dwell for ever. That will be the great success. (4:13)

Patience

O ye who believe! Endure, outdo all others in endurance, be ready, and observe your duty to Allah, in order that ye may succeed. (3:200)

Striving in Allah’s path

Marvel ye then at this statement, (53:59)

SIncerity

And strive for Allah with the endeavour which is His right. He hath chosen you and hath not laid upon you in religion any hardship; the faith of your father Abraham (is yours). He hath named you Muslims of old time and in this (Scripture), that the messenger may be a witness against you, and that ye may be witnesses against mankind. So establish worship, pay the poor-due, and hold fast to Allah. He is your Protecting friend. A blessed Patron and a blessed Helper! (78)

Hadith :

Whoever delegates a position to someone whereas he sees someone else more competent ( for the position), verily he has cheated God and His Apostle and all the Muslims.

Hadith transmitted by Al-Hakim and cited in Tamiyyah. Al Siyasatus Shariah Fi Islaahir Raaie war Raiiyyha.

Inspiration and aspiration

Filed under: Uncategorized — mozamid @ 11:08 am

Both arise from different point of view and seem forming its own identity and are intact with each other. By observing these two factors from academic point of view, they are from different faculties which are totally different from each other and may not even have a single connection with each other.

Inspiration is defined by a divine influence directly and immediately exerted upon the mind or soul from theology point of view, where as aspiration is defined as strong desire, longing, or aim; ambition that one may hold. Academician (western school of thoughts/ secularism) will only interested in reasoning and scientific method or argument which is to the best of knowledge to be practical and reasonable enough to explain and understand phenomena that was observed. Theologians however have different perspective. They are interested to discuss and to try at best to understand religions and believe hold by human beings using a modified scientific model and mapped themselves as social science field.

Islamic well known philosopher, Imam Al-Ghazali once discussed about Islam in a unique way. He used a scientific method but at the same time does not preventing or hindering the spirituality to develop and finally found the answers. He is the one who try to understand Islam not in the nutshell but in a different perspective that a civilization had claimed upon him due to massive exposure of knowledge and school of thoughts. As Allah promised to human kind that he will grant us whatever we wish in this life. We are what we seeking for. Seeking does not stand alone; seeking is an action combining inspiration and aspiration together as they are not independent.

Seeking must comes from deep in your heart(soul) and then developed into deep thoughts which then creating a space for aspiration to nurture and develop thus leading you to a closer step to the answer you are looking for. He the Almighty, will guide you to the answer if you are a true seeker. You will seek what you desire and things that always pop up in your mind. The more you think, the more you are into it, the more you are into it, the more desire you develop into solving or at least understand the nature of it.

Seeking for the truth is a long journey but now it can be shortened by reading great documentation from great people who are very critical in every single way and they are really a true truth seeker. They managed to understand it in a new perspective inspired by an instigation of hungry soul and mind to discover the secrets of revelations.

Often we heard that Allah will not put a responsibility one soul if they are not capable of used as escapism. Those are liars that protect themselves under the garment or shadow of believe they hold. These days we were mocked with human rights in which develop from experience of human beings which will never be perfect. Human rights developed in forming a global understanding in accepting common culture that must be hold by community of human beings. They are inspired by thinking processes and often separate themselves from any divine revelations which are not wise decisions.

The key here is simple, if ones seek for the truth and really is a true seeker; he will accept whatever may come even though it may seem ridiculous or unacceptable in the beginning. Inspiration and aspiration is strongly related to each other. Their correlation is so important because they are together. You must have something that will always inspire you to keep going. Aspiration is an outcome in support of your inspiration. Thus, aspiration is guided by a very strong push factor that come from inside. It is our responsibility to ensure that we nurture the right inspiration in ourselves and for others that we may groom. It may seem simple and less important, but we must have and be a critical inspiration even to ourselves just to empower meta-physical and physical capacity.

Be inspired by Islam,

aspire the goodness of practicing Islam,

be proud!
